Aston Martin builds 50 million dollar flats in Miami

British sports car manufacturer Aston Martin, preferred by James Bond, took a leap in business today with the start of construction work to build a luxury residential building in Miami with prices of up to $ 50 million.

The Aston Martin Residences project, which is born of the partnership between Aston Martin and the Argentine real estate company Coto, G & G Business Developments, is the first residential project to start in Downtown Miami in 2017.

The 66-storey sailboat tower, designed by the American architectural company Revuelta and the Argentine Bodas Miani Anger, will have 391 apartments from 700 to 1900 square feet, plus seven attics and an exclusive triplex attic of more than 10,000 feet squares.

In addition, in the more than 42,275 square feet of entertainment areas, which occupy four levels of the tower, there will be a two-story gym, spinning room, boxing room, virtual golf room, art gallery, two cinemas and a spa.

Prices in this building that will be completed in 2021 and looks at the mouth of the Miami River and the Bay of Biscay range from $ 600,000 to $ 50 million.

The developers of the project already have reserve deposits of apartments for 100 million dollars.

“Having manufactured more than 80,000 cars throughout our history, we have now considered entering the real estate business for the first time,” Simon Sproule, vice president of Aston Martin, a high-end brand created in the Kingdom United in 1913.

The creative director also emphasized that when the Coto family proposed this project they were “immediately impressed” with the approach they put in the same values ​​that “our brand defends”: quality and design.

The Aston Martin design team, led by Marek Reichman, vice president and creative director, will be in charge of the interior and common areas of the building, in which the key elements of the brand, such as carbon fiber and leather, will be employees at reception desks and doors.

“We are here today to celebrate the start of construction, which serves as confirmation of our commitment to a strict schedule,” said German Coto, CEO of G & G Business Developments.

Coto wanted to thank the “excellent” reception of the project and said he was “sure” to be able to fulfill the promise to create the “most complete” residential tower.

Later, in an interview with Efe, Coto said that they partnered with Aston Martin because they wanted “the design to move the spirit of the people involved in this project.”

The president of G & G added that beauty and quality are the main qualities present in this tower of luxury.
