“American Made” and “Flatliners” will fight for number one at the box office

The action film “American Made”, starring Tom Cruise, and the thriller “Flatliners”, with Mexican Diego Luna, will fight this weekend for number one at the American box office.

“Made by Doug Liman” tells the true story of how a US soldier became a drug dealer in the Medellin cartel and ended up being recruited by the CIA and DEA intelligence department in one of the most important covert operations of the history of the USA.

Tom Cruise, Domhnall Gleeson, Sarah Wright and Jesse Plemons are the stars of the film.

Flatliners, by Niels Arden Oplev, tells the story of five medical students who decide to carry out a risky experiment to know firsthand what it feels like to be close to death.

Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev and James Norton lead the cast, a new version of 1990’s starring Kiefer Sutherland, Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon and William Baldwin.

The thriller “Til Death Do Us Part” and “Mark Felt” also reach theaters in the United States.

Chris Stokes’s “Til Death Do Us Part” tells how a woman manages to escape from her husband’s abuse and finds love again under a new identity. However, his ex-partner manages to find his whereabouts and turns his life into a nightmare.

Taye Diggs, Annie Ilonzeh, Malik Yoba and Stephen Bishop appear in the film.

Finally, “Mark Felt” by Peter Landesman tells how the FBI’s number two decided to contact reporters from The Washington Post to uncover the illegal wiretapping scheme promoted by President Richard Nixon’s government against the Democratic opposition in the electoral campaign of 1972.

Liam Neeson, Diane Lane, Marton Csokas and Tony Goldwyn form the cast.
