Trump wonders if Kim has nothing better to do than launch missiles

US President Donald Trump reacted to a new test of a North Korean missile by asking himself on Twitter whether North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has nothing better to do and warning him that the patience of Seoul and Tokyo is running out.

Trump, who has spent a weekend playing golf for the thirty-fifth time since joining the presidency, turned to Twitter to ensure, “North Korea has just launched another missile. This guy has nothing better to do with his life. ? “.

He added: “It is hard to believe that South Korea and Japan will hold this much longer. Perhaps China will make a strong move against North Korea and will end this nonsense once and for all.”

North Korea has launched a new ballistic missile test, firing at least one missile into the Sea of Japan (called “East Sea” in the two Koreas), according to a spokesman for the South Korean Defense Ministry.

The test was conducted around the Panghyon air base, where on 12 February the North Korean military fired its new Pukguksong-2 missile, also known as KN-15, with an estimated range of about 3,000 kilometers.

Japanese government spokesman Yoshihide Suga told a news conference that the projectile was believed to have fallen into the waters of its Special Economic Zone (EEZ), which stretches some 200 kilometers off the coast of the archipelago.

This North Korean weapons trial, the first since June 8 and the eleventh since the beginning of the year, comes just after new South Korean President Moon Jae-in and his American counterpart Donald Trump met last week In Washington to address the problems of the regime and on the eve of July 4, US Independence Day.

In addition, Trump has called for China’s help to deny the only way out of international isolation provided by its alliance with Beijing, something that has not materialized in a clear attempt to return the Kim Jong-un regime to the negotiating table .
