Harman wins Wells Fargo his second title on the PGA Tour

The American Brian Harman won his second PGA Tour title Sunday by winning the Wells Fargo championship at the Eagle Point club in Wilmington, North Carolina, U.S).

Brian Harman finished the tournament with 278 strokes (10 under par), one less than his compatriots Dustin Johnson and Pat Perez and two of margin on the Spanish Jon Rahm.

A long putt in the last hole prevented a tiebreaker to which the outcome seemed destined.
This is the second title of Harman, 30 years and that released his record on 13 July 2014 in the John Deere Classic.

With just one impact, Dustin Johnson, world number one, who flirted with victory after hurriedly cleared the cut on Friday.

After making 70 and 75 in the first two rounds, Johnson finished with two laps of 67 to stay a step ahead of what would have been his fourth consecutive title. He could not play the Masters because of injury and returned to the competition this weekend in Wilmington.
