Miami – The streets of Downtown Miami, South Beach, and Coconut Grove will come alive on the morning of Sunday, January 25, as the 24th annual Life Time Miami Marathon & Half, presented by FP Movement, returns with a completely sold-out field of 18,500 runners for the fifth consecutive year.
Owned and produced by Life Time (NYSE: LTH), the leading healthy lifestyle brand in the United States with more than 185 athletic clubs across the U.S. and Canada, demand for this annual event extends nationally and internationally, with runners coming from 49 states and 82 countries.
In addition, 56 runners are considered “streakers,” having participated in the race for all 24 consecutive years of its history. After registrations sold out in mid-August 2025—the earliest sellout in the event’s history—a waitlist of nearly 10,000 runners was generated.
“We are thrilled to welcome runners from all corners of the world this weekend,” said Frankie Ruiz, co-founder of the Miami Marathon and Chief Running Officer for Life Time. “The growth and demand for the Life Time Miami Marathon & Half are a testament to the unforgettable experiences our athletes have when visiting this vibrant destination. Running in Miami is a unique experience.”
The 2025 women’s marathon winner, Beth Marzigliano, will return to defend her title, facing a competitive field of elite runners primarily from the United States and Latin America.
The Life Time Miami Marathon & Half is supported by the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority. In addition to the marathon and half marathon, weekend activities include:
Miami Famous Expo: a leading industry event featuring exhibitors, live entertainment, and experiential activations from top lifestyle, health, and wellness brands, at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center on January 23 and 24, 2026.
Life Time Tropical 5K: Saturday, January 24, 2026

Kids Run Miami: More than 1,200 students from Miami-Dade County schools will complete the final mile of their 15-week marathon training program, alongside thousands of marathon and half marathon participants. This program, funded by the Life Time Foundation, promotes active and healthy lifestyles by encouraging students to run 25 miles over 15 weeks leading up to the marathon. The children will complete their final 1.2-mile leg at the finish line on race day at 11:00 a.m.
