RIP Angel Anya 🐶👼🏻😢

I came out of meditation the other day to a call from ou Balinese @mindspo.retreats team that our little girl Anya had suddenly left us...

We fostered and then adopted Anya in 2020 when the dog shelters in Bali were struggling with so many ex-pats leaving and brought her to the Mindspo mansion for what I called very own self-love retreat. 💜🥲 When I felt I’d lost everything I had worked for with no Mindspo students able to travel to me, I found a lot of purpose and peace in giving all the love I had to my new furry student.

Anya had been rescued after being found with severe malnutrition and rickets, anxiety and a lot of trust issues, but with a lot of love, care, she became a bright light at the Mindspo Mansion... Not only to me but also to our beautiful local team.

I've been pretty upset this week with everything going on in the world. This news just broke me, but @chrissoll said something to me that's helped. “It's not about how long we live, but the quality of our life that matters.” and I know for the time we had any, her time was spent being the princess (second to Queen cleo) of a giant jungle mansion, eating only the best dog food, running wild in the jungle and having endless cuddles from myself and my whole team, especially Jojo who she slept with every single night. ❤️

We don't deserve dogs. Be sure to give your fur babies a big hug today and hold them right; life is short, so live it well and be grateful for everything you have, because nothing lasts forever.

I don't know about you, but I am in need of some self-care this week. 💜✨Especially today after some really sad news. Here are some simple things I do when I need a pick me up.
