Antonio Banderas has been awarded the Best Leading Actor Award at the Goya 2020 Awards for his performance in ‘Pain and Glory’.
The actor competed for this award with Antonio de la Torre, for ‘The infinite trench’; Karra Elejalde, for ‘While the war lasts’; and Luis Tosar, for ‘Who kills iron’.
The Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain presents this Saturday the Goya Awards, the most important awards granted in Spanish cinema, which celebrate its 34th edition, a ceremony that takes place for the first time in Malaga, in the Palace of Sports José MarÃa MartÃn Carpena and who again has Andreu Buenafuente and Silvia Abril as masters of ceremonies.
