Hurricane ‘Dorian’, which is approaching the United States with a category 4 force, has deviated from its initially planned course and now could only touch the state of Florida to end up heading to Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, according to the latest projections of the National Hurricane Center of the USA.
“Even if the eye of the ‘Dorian’ remains on the high seas there could be a significant impact,” says the Center in his Twitter account. “Given the change in prognosis, the risk of high winds and potentially deadly swells along the coasts of Georgia and South Carolina will increase during the middle of next week,” the statement said.
For the moment, the White House has not made changes in its emergency declaration in Florida before the arrival of a hurricane that will arrive in the next hours to the North American coast with winds of about 209 kilometers per hour.
This Sunday is expected to arrive in the Bahamas, whose authorities have already issued an evacuation order.
