The Revolutionary Guard says it will teach the US “a historic lesson” if it attacks Iran again

The commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, Mohamed Pakpur, warned the United States on Tuesday that any new attack against the country will cause Tehran to teach Washington “a historic lesson,” following the launch of missiles at a US base in Qatar in response to the US bombing of three Iranian nuclear facilities.

Pakpur emphasized that the attack on the Al Udeid base struck “the heart of the Middle East” of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) and asserted that the facilities suffered material damage despite the actions of air defense systems.

He described US President Donald Trump as “stupid and ignorant” for ordering the attacks on the nuclear facilities in Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan and reiterated that any new attack “will be met with an even more crushing response.”

On the other hand, he maintained that the United States’ decision to bomb Iran reflects Washington’s support for the “vile and infanticidal” Israel and represents “sacrificing the interests and security of Americans for the survival of the Israeli regime,” according to Iranian television network Press TV.

Trump claimed on Monday that Iran had given advance warning of its attack, which he described as “very weak,” after which he announced a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran that went into effect early Tuesday. The Israeli military subsequently accused Iran of launching new missiles, although Tehran has denied doing so.
