What did Val Kilmer, the actor from “Batman,” die of?

Mexico City.- The film world mourned the death of actor Val Kilmer, known for his portrayals of “The Lizard King” and “Batman,” at the age of 65.

His daughter, Mercedes Kilmer, confirmed the sad news about the death of the “Batman Forever” star, who had already faced other health problems.

Originally from Los Angeles, California, Kilmer made his big screen debut in the 1980s with “Top Secret!”, a spy parody in which he played an American singer in Berlin.

In 1991, he gained worldwide recognition after portraying Jim Morrison, the “Lizard King,” in the film “The Doors.”

He later became one of the most iconic superheroes: “Batman,” in the film “Batman Forever,” where he co-starred with Tommy Lee Jones, Nicole Kidman, Jim Carrey, and Drew Barrymore.

Throughout his life, the actor faced several health problems; in 2014, he was diagnosed with throat cancer.

Although he managed to overcome the disease, his career was cut short by subsequent complications.

Confirming the news of his death, his daughter Mercedes explained that Val Kilmer died of severe pneumonia.

So far, the actor’s family has not released further details about his final moments or funeral services.
