At least 27 people have died and 86 have been injured during the day on Saturday
The authorities of the Gaza Strip, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), have reported this Sunday that they have counted 27 dead and 86 wounded in Israeli attacks during the day on Saturday, bringing the total number of deaths since the start of the military offensive launched against the enclave after the attacks carried out on October 7, 2023 to more than 43,300 and there are more than 102,100 wounded.
The Gaza Ministry of Health has indicated in a statement that so far 43,341 “martyrs” and 102,105 wounded have been confirmed after adding the victims of four “massacres” against families in the Gaza Strip.
However, he said that “there are still victims among the rubble and lying in the streets, with ambulances and Civil Defense teams unable to reach them.” Gazan authorities have said that at least 10,000 people are listed as missing in the offensive.
Palestinian media have reported that Israeli attacks have been concentrated in the north of the Palestinian enclave in recent hours, with attacks in the city of Gaza, Beit Lahiya and Yabalia.
There have also been attacks in Nuseirat, in the center of the Gaza Strip, which has been bombed from Israeli warships, and the Al Bureij refugee camp in the same region, as well as in Khan Yunis and Rafah, in the south of the Strip.
The Gazan authorities’ toll does not include those killed on Sunday, when at least 23 deaths have been reported.
The offensive against Gaza was launched after those attacks, which left some 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to Israeli authorities. To these tolls are added some 750 Palestinians killed by Israeli security forces and in attacks perpetrated by settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since that date, in addition to the more than 2,500 killed in Israeli attacks in Lebanon.
