Michelle Obama says Trump is “afraid” to debate Harris again

Former US first lady Michelle Obama has participated this Saturday in a campaign event for the Democratic presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, and has assured that her Republican rival, Donald Trump, is “afraid” to face her again in a debate.

“She is running an admirable campaign in record time. She has dominated her opponent so thoroughly in the debate that (Trump) is afraid to face her again,” Obama said from Michigan, according to CNN.

Harris “is showing us what a sane and stable leader is like (…) without losing the thread or stammering and she is doing it with grace and vigor. That is because Kamala Harris is grown up,” she added.

On the other hand, Trump has “erratic behavior and an evident mental decline,” according to Michelle Obama, who has recalled his “convicted criminal history.” “He is a slum landlord, a predator responsible for sexual abuse,” she continued. “I just pray that those who are considering voting for Trump or not voting will shake off the fog that they are in,” he said.

Trump is also campaigning in Michigan and took the opportunity to mock the appearance of singer Beyoncé at a Harris event on Friday. “They have to use these people to get people to come. They thought Beyoncé was going to perform,” he said.
