The home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the Israeli town of Caesarea was the target of an attack last night with a drone that left no victims, according to the Prime Minister’s office.
According to the first investigation, the aircraft had departed from Lebanon.
The police have limited themselves to commenting that the plane ended up crashing in the coastal district of the city, without giving further details. The Army, for its part, has indicated that no one was injured in the incident and that two other unmanned flying objects were intercepted.
The Netanyahu couple were not at home at the time of the attack, according to the Prime Minister’s office.
An air alert was also declared this morning in Tel Aviv, 55 kilometers to the south, when a drone approached the Glilot district, where the headquarters of the Israeli foreign intelligence service, the Mossad, and another intelligence center are located.
According to the army, sirens have sounded in recent hours in several towns in northern Israel, including the city of Tiberias, on the western coast of the Sea of Galilee.
