Trump and Harris accuse each other of “not having a plan” for the US

Former US President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris accused each other on Tuesday of “not having a plan” for the country during the debate held on the ABC News television network ahead of the November presidential elections.

While Harris has assured that Trump only intends to “lower taxes for the rich” while the tycoon has affirmed that the Democratic candidate “copy” the “four-phrase” policy of the current president, Joe Biden, whose management has left the “highest inflation rate” in the history of the country, although this data has been questioned by ABC News analysts.

After that, Trump has highlighted that his Administration achieved one of the lowest inflation rates in the United States, and has defended his policies even regarding the management of the Covid-19 pandemic, which left thousands dead in the country.

Harris, for her part, has expressed that she intends to improve the situation of the middle and working class, focusing on young families and the high prices of housing rents.

She has also criticized Trump’s legacy: “He left us the worst unemployment figures since the Great Depression. Donald Trump left us the worst public epidemic in a century. Donald Trump left us the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War. And what we have done is clean up Donald Trump’s mess. What we have done and what I intend to do is build on what we know.”
