The leader of the Venezuelan opposition, María Corina Machado, has called for a new demonstration against the Government of Nicolás Maduro on Wednesday to protest against the controversial result of the presidential elections, one month before the date of the polls, on July 28.

Machado criticized the fact that Chavismo “did not dare to present a single piece of paper and went out to hide behind its TSJ (Superior Court of Justice), subjected to tyranny and which has no say in this funeral to whitewash its CNE (National Electoral Council), the fraudulent one.” “There is no greater confession of defeat,” he added.
The TSJ confirmed last week the victory of President Nicolás Maduro in the elections of July 28, despite the doubts that this meeting has raised due to the lack of transparency of the Chavista authorities.
