Trump achieves the necessary support to achieve the Republican Party nomination

Donald Trump has received the necessary votes from the 2,500 delegates gathered in Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention, thereby guaranteeing his election as the Republican Party candidate in the presidential elections on November 5.

The different state delegations have gone one by one proclaiming their support during the convention until the intervention of the Florida delegation has guaranteed Trump the votes necessary to name him as a candidate, according to US television CNN.

The spokesman for the Florida delegation has been Eric Trump, son of the virtual candidate of the Republican Party. Eric Trump has been supported by Tiffany Trump and Donald Trump Jr.

The Republican delegates thus meet the forecasts, since estimates indicated that 2,268 votes would be for Donald Trump, which turned the convention into a mere formality.

The event was also marked by Trump’s announcement that he was choosing Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, as a vice presidential candidate. Trump revealed his election in a message posted on his social network, Truth Social.
