The Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has been recognized for its impact on sports training and its promotion of positive values internationally in the third edition of the SIE Excellence Awards, organized by Spain is Excellence (SIE) and which brought together more of 140 outstanding personalities from the business, institutional and cultural worlds.
The objective of the SIE Awards is to recognize and pay tribute to those Spanish brands and companies that have managed to position themselves abroad in an exemplary manner, representing the Spain brand with excellence and contributing to the international prestige of our country.
After creating the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca in 2016, Rafa Nadal and his team designed an international expansion based on a new line of tennis centers inspired by the training methodology carried out in Manacor.
During this period, a second Rafa Nadal Academy has been inaugurated in Kuwait, as well as three other sports centers called Rafa Nadal Tennis Center located in Mexico, Greece and Hong Kong.
The award was collected by the deputy general director of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, Maribel Nadal, who recognized that it is a “very special” award, since it “recognizes the work” that the entire academy team is carrying out. so that Rafa’s “legacy” and the academy’s “methodology” have “a universal impact.” “We have unbeatable partners and our objective is to continue this international expansion in a prudent but progressive manner,” she noted.
