Rapper Ye apologizes to Jewish community for anti-Semitic remarks

Rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, apologized this Tuesday to the Jewish community for anti-Semitic statements made earlier this month in which he also criticized his former ally, former US President Donald Trump.

“It was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused,” he said in a writing published in Hebrew on his social networks, as reported by NBC News.

Ye has also highlighted that he is committed to “amending” his mistakes, as well as “learning” from his mistakes to have “greater sensitivity and understanding in the future.” His statement comes after a video was released in which he referenced Hitler and criticized Trump for his mugshot.

The social network Twitter, now known as American conspiracy Alex Jones who liked Hitler.
