The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have claimed that they have killed the head of Hamas’ air formation, Ezzam Abu Raffa, using fighter jets.
“Abu Raffa was responsible for the management of the Hamas organization’s unmanned aerial vehicle systems, drones, aerial detection, paragliders and air defense,” the IDF said on its X social network account, before Twitter.
They added that, “as part of his position, he participated in the planning and execution of the murderous massacre in the settlements surrounding Gaza on October 7.”
“This is achieved by directing terrorists who infiltrated by parachute into the surroundings of Gaza and by drone strikes towards IDF posts,” they concluded.
