The Miami Heat overwhelm the Boston Celtics and touch the NBA Finals

The Miami Heat caress the NBA Finals three years later, after overwhelming (128-102) the Boston Celtics and putting the 3-0 in the Final of the Eastern Conference, boosted this time by an unusual Gabe Vincent, who touched the thirty points in the choral performance of those from Florida.

As they had done so far, the Heat also signed up for Game 3 and left the Celtics on the brink of the abyss. Without a Jimmy Butler (16) as leading as he is used to and with a not brilliant Bam Adebayo (13), Miami showed that it can also win with authority playing as a team, without total dependence on its two stars.

The locals were much better during the first half and also in a third quarter (32-17) that ended up being key. The Heat took off on the scoreboard, unattainable for some ‘poor’ Celtics who got the upper hand with anxiety, with Jayson Tatum (14) and Jalen Brown (12) as top scorers, although with numbers well below the usual.

And the ‘culprit’ for the Heat having set a foot and a half in the NBA Finals for the first time since 2019-2020 is Gabe Vincent. The point guard, without much prominence so far, achieved his highest personal score (29) in the ‘Playoffs’, with 11/14 in shots and 6/9 in triples. Duncan Robinson (22 points), Caleb Martin (18) and Max Struss (10) also finished in double figures in some very successful Heat from the perimeter (19/36 on outside shooting).

Thus, after the last party at the Kaseya Center, the NBA Finals, which Miami has not won for a decade, begin to take shape, after the Denver Nuggets also dominate their series in the West 3-0 over Los Angeles Lakers.
