American actor Tom Sizemore, in critical condition due to a brain aneurysm, confirms his representative

The American actor Tom Sizemore, known for his roles in films such as ‘Heat’ or ‘Saving Private Ryan’, has been hospitalized after suffering a brain aneurysm and is now in intensive care, his spokesman confirmed to CNN this Sunday.

Sizemore is in critical condition and is in a “wait and see” situation according to his representative, Charles Lago. “His family is aware of him and awaits updates. Right now there is no more information,” he added.

Sizemore, 61, of Detroit, reached the height of his career in the 1990s and 2000s with roles in “Natural Born Killers,” “Strange Days” and “Pearl Harbor.”

In addition, he was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2000 for Best Performance by an Actor in a Miniseries or Movie Made for Television for his role in “Witness Protection.” More recently, he appeared in episodes of the television series ‘Twin Peaks’ or ‘Cobra Kai’.

Sizemore has long battled drug addiction and throughout his career has faced a litany of legal issues during his career. He was convicted in 2003 on domestic violence charges following an assault charge brought by his former fiancée, Heidi Fleiss.
