Spider-Man: No Way Home is now the sixth highest-grossing movie of all time

With its more than 1,690 million dollars, Spider-Man: No Way Home (Spider-Man: No way home) has already become the sixth highest grossing film of all time.

Since its release in mid-December 2021, the film directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland has grossed $721 million at the US box office and $970 million in other international markets. A resounding success that it also enjoys in the United Kingdom, where it has become the fourth highest-grossing film in history.

The achievement of Tom Holland’s third solo film as Spider-Man still has merit considering the current pandemic situation and that the film has not yet been released in one of the two great markets along with the United States, China.

The release in the Asian giant could be the necessary boost for the film to reach the 2,048 million dollars of Avengers: Infinity War, the fifth highest-grossing film in history, or even the 2,069 million dollars of Star Wars: The Awakening of strength, which ranks fourth.

Unattainable for Spider-Man: No Way Home seem the marks of Titanic (2,200 million), Avengers: Engame (2,797 million) and Avatar (2,847 million) that complete the podium of the highest-grossing films in the history of cinema, without taking into account count inflation.
