Frontdoor Career and Technical Scholarship: Frontdoor, Inc., the parent company of leading home warranty provider American Home Shield, has created the Career Technical Scholarship program in partnership with technical schools, including Erwin Tech. grants to fifteen students to complete the university’s HVAC, plumbing and electrical certification programs. Scholarship Summary: Over the course of the program, funds totaling $ 15,000 will be awarded to a total of 15 students with a value of $ 1,000 each. In addition to tuition funding, program recipients will have special access to being part of a network of professionals and mentoring through Frontdoor’s extensive network of qualified contractors.
Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible, students must have completed at least 50% of their study program and funds will be applied to the remaining courses. Recipients will be required to attend classes regularly and maintain a 2.50 GPA.
