They identify the latest victim of the collapse of the Miami building

Miami-Dade County has identified this Monday the last missing victim in the collapse of the building in the Surfside town, Estelle Hedaya, a 54-year-old woman, who was in her home on the sixth floor of the building when it collapsed, a tragedy that has left 98 dead.

This has closed more than a month of rescue work, recovery of bodies and identification among the rubble of the Champlain Towers South complex, where the collapsed 12-story building was located.

The Miami-Dade Police have been in charge of identifying the victim, an information that the mayor of Miami-Dade County, Daniella Levine, had previously advanced, reports the local media ‘Miami Herald’.

Levine wished, in a press conference, that now he can “begin the long healing process” that is required after the tragedy of the building.

Estelle Hedaya was the last name on the Police list of missing persons believed to be in the building when it collapsed on June 24. However, the search for remains continues among the rubble.
