Guaidó assures that Maduro finances the “repression” in Cuba-

Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaidó has assured that the Government of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro “finances” the “repression” against the protesters who have taken to the streets of the island’s cities in the last week.

“While the world rejects the reprimand and the persecution, the Maduro dictatorship finances it in Cuba. They have cooperated for years in the violation of Human Rights,” Guaidó posted on Twitter.

In addition, Guaidó has criticized the photo released by the Government of the executive vice president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, meeting in Cuba with the Cuban president, Miguel Díaz-Canel.

“That photo represents contempt for the human being. It does not represent Venezuelans and Cubans who fight for freedom and democracy,” he also asserted on Twitter.

During Saturday’s meeting, Rodríguez expressed her support for Díaz-Canel in the face of the “criminal imperial attack against the Cuban people,” in reference to the protests.

Rodríguez has expressed the solidarity and support of the Venezuelan President, Nicolás Maduro, in the face of the “political-communication campaign against Cuba and the intensification of the blockade imposed by the United States Government.”

Rodríguez is visiting Cuba with a work schedule marked by the relations of brotherhood and solidarity that exist between both nations, the Venezuelan authorities have informed.
