A United States grand jury indicted four former Minneapolis police officers on Friday in connection with the death of African-American George Floyd, who died of suffocation during a police arrest at the hands of Derek Chauvin, a policeman who was found guilty. of all charges.

Chauvin has also been accused of using excessive force in an incident that took place in September 2017 with a minor under 14, as confirmed by the Department of Justice.
The documents indicate that Chauvin would have “held the adolescent by the throat and hit him on the head with a flashlight.” In addition, he has been accused of placing his knee on the neck when it was on the ground.
