A 90-year-old woman from Northern Ireland on Tuesday became the first person in the world to receive the vaccine manufactured by Pfizer / BioNTech as part of the vaccination program that has started in the United Kingdom.
Margaret Keenan, who has been vaccinated at Coventry University Hospital, has claimed to feel “privileged”, according to the BBC.
The country started its vaccination campaign against the new coronavirus on Tuesday. In the initial phase, the vaccination of people over 80 years of age and part of the health and care personnel is planned.
