Walmart earns 4,326 million in its third quarter, 56.2% more

In addition, the firm has explained that Internet sales in the United States grew 79% in the quarter with “solid results” in all channels.

Costs associated with sales increased by 4.6% to $ 100,339 million (€ 84,447 million), while operating, selling, general and administrative expenses stood at $ 28,591 million (€ 24,060 million). euros) in the quarter, 4.4% more than in the same period of the previous year.

Thus, in the first nine months of 2020 as a whole, Walmart’s net profit reached 15,601 million dollars (13,129 million euros), 45.3% more than in the same period of 2019. At the same time, Revenues rose by 6.5% to 407,072 million dollars (342,566 million euros).
