LeBron James and Davis cancel Miami and put the direct to the ring

The Los Angeles Lakers, led by spectacular Anthony Davis and LeBron James, made it 2-0 in the NBA Finals after taking the second game against the Miami Heat (124-114), who could not recover from the notable absences of Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic.

Neither the power forward, with discomfort in his left shoulder and wrist, nor the Slovenian point guard, who suffers from a ruptured plantar fascia, could help Erik Spoelstra’s men, who, although they did battle, ended up succumbing to individual talent and Los Angeles physicist.

The will of Miami, with Meyers Leonard as Adebayo’s replacement in the starting five, was appeased time and again by Frank Vogel’s men, who only had to press the accelerator as their rival approached the scoreboard.

This time, the difference was made by Anthony Davis, with a ‘double-double’ of 32 points -15 of 20 from the field and 11 of 12 from the personnel line- and 14 rebounds, and, again, LeBron James , top scorer of the night (33) and who stayed one rebound and an assist from the ‘triple-double’. Between the two, they signed 29-45 in field goals.

From the bench, Rajon Rondo contributed 16 points and 10 assists, with a 3-4 in triples, while Alex Caruso added only 6 points but was vital in defensive actions. Only Jimmy Butler, with 25 points, 13 assists and 8 rebounds, stood out among the Heat. The third game of the final series will be played at dawn from Sunday to Monday at 1.30 am peninsular time.
