Biden to meet with Jacob Blake’s family during a visit to Kenosha

The candidate of the Democratic Party for the Presidency of the United States, Joe Biden, will follow in the footsteps of his electoral rival, Donald Trump, and will travel this Thursday to the city of Kenosha (Wisconsin), where he will meet with relatives of Jacob Blake, the man black man shot by the police.

Trump traveled to the town on Tuesday, in a controversial visit questioned by the mayor of Kenosha and the governor of Wisconsin, both Democrats. Biden has accused the president of encouraging violence after the wave of protests unleashed by the case of Blake, who received seven gunshot wounds in the back.

The former vice president’s campaign has confirmed that the Democratic candidate, unlike Trump, will meet with Blake’s relatives and, together with his wife, Jill Biden, will participate in a meeting to try to “heal” the open wounds and treat the “challenges “pending, according to the Bloomberg agency.

Biden has defended to the press in Delaware that he goes to Kenosha after “numerous requests” in this regard. He aspires to be a “positive influence” throughout this crisis, and with this trip, he will make his first visit to Wisconsin during the campaign for the November 3 election.
