Netflix has already commissioned a third season of How to sell drugs online (at full speed) the groundbreaking German series about two young people who almost without intending to become big drug dealers through the internet. The streaming service has revealed that it is their most watched German original series, and that it will have at least a third season.
Created by Philipp Käbbohrer and Matthias Murman, the series premiered in 2019, and Season 2 came to Netflix on July 21. With a light-hearted and current narrative, How to sell drugs online tells the story of Moritz and his friends, some misfits who set up a secure online pill sales business, becoming the largest distributors in Europe.
According to Deadline, the S3 production company is ready to start production of the 3rd season in and around Cologne, and its main characters are expected to return in new chapters, including Maximilian Mundt (Moritz), Danilo Kamperidis (Lenny) Damian Hardung (Dan), Lena Klenke (Lisa) and Lena Urzendowsky.
In Season 2, which consists of six episodes, the MyDrugs group faced the great dilemma of leaving the business at its peak or continuing to work with their pill suppliers to avoid endangering their family. The entire series is narrated by Moritz after his arrest, so a continuation was inevitable, especially given his growing success.
The finale leaves the door open for a new batch of episodes, which are expected to hit Netflix in late 2021 or early 2022, roughly a year and a half after its predecessor, following the reference times of other productions on the streaming service. .
