The coronavirus pandemic adds 199,400 cases in one day and exceeds 609,000 deaths

Accumulates more than 14.7 million positives with the United States registering more than 60,000 positives in the last day

The pandemic of the new coronavirus originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan has registered 199,400 new cases in the last 24 hours, which brings the balance to more than 14.7 million infected people and more than 609,000 fatalities, according to the published global balance. The United States accumulates 3.83 million cases and 140,909 fatalities, after adding 60,400 new positives in the last 24 hours. Brazil – with 2.11 million positives and 80,120 deaths, including 20,300 new cases from the previous balance – is instead the country with the most recovered patients, with 1.51 million people saved.

For its part, India records 1.15 million infections with 28,082 deaths, after registering 37,100 positives in the last 24 hours. Then, Russia accumulates 776,212 infections and 12,408 deaths.

In fifth place is South Africa with 373,628 positives and 5,173 deaths, followed by Peru, which accumulates 353,590 infections and 13,187 deaths, and Mexico, with 349,396 positives and 39,485 deaths.

For its part, Chile counts 330,930 infected people and 8,503 deaths, while the United Kingdom has 296,944 people with coronaviruses and 45,397 fatalities.

Then, Iran accumulates 276,202 positives and 14,405 deaths, ahead of Pakistan, with 266,096 infected people and 5,639 deaths, and Spain, with 264,836 infected and 28,422 deaths.

COLOMBIA EXCEEDS 200,000 POSITIVES
Saudi Arabia widely exceeds the threshold of 250,000 cases, with a total of 253,349 infected people and 2,523 deaths, followed by Italy (244,624 cases and 35,058 deaths), Turkey (220,572 cases and 5,508 deaths), France (214,023 infections and 30,180 deaths) , Bangladesh (207,453 cases and 2,668 deaths), Colombia (204,005 positives and 6,929 deaths) and Germany (203,325 positives and 9,032 deaths) close the list of countries that exceed the threshold of 200,000 confirmed cases.

Below the threshold of 200,000 cases are Argentina (130,744), Canada (112,938) and Qatar (107,037), which exceed 100,000 COVID-19 patients.

Iraq (94,693 cases), Egypt (88,402) and Indonesia (88,214) are in the ranking ahead of China, the country where the pandemic originated and which accumulates 85,314 positives. Following are Sweden, Ecuador, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Oman, Belarus, Belgium, Ukraine, Bolivia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Panama, the Dominican Republic, the Netherlands and Israel have exceeded 50,000 cases. They have more than 40,000 Portugal, Singapore and Poland.

For their part, Guatemala, Romania, Nigeria, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Armenia, Honduras and Switzerland have already registered more than 30,000 positives, while Ghana, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Japan, Ireland, Algeria, Serbia and Moldova exceed 20,000.

Austria, Nepal, Uzbekistan, Morocco, Cameroon, the Ivory Coast, the Czech Republic, South Korea, Kenya, Denmark, Australia, Venezuela, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Sudan and Ethiopia have registered more than 10,000 positives.
