Osceola County, Kissimmee and St. Cloud close offices to the public

Starting Friday, March 20, Osceola County and the cities of Kissimmee and St. Cloud will close their facilities to the public, including libraries. The only exceptions for these closures are Kenansville Landfill, Bass Road Landfill and St. Cloud Transfer Station. Osceola County Animal Services will have limited hours by appointment only for all adoptions, lost pet returns, and pet viewing for potential adoption.

Osceola County and the cities of Kissimmee and St. Cloud are doing so to minimize health risks to residents and employees. The community is encouraged to visit the websites for the municipalities (listed below) for assistance, as most key services are available online or by phone and business can be conducted via email, phone or video chat.

· Osceola County Government Osceola.org or Permits.Osceola.org
· City of Kissimmee Kissimmee.org
· City of St. Cloud StCloud.org

Osceola County officials urge the community to practice social distancing, and to stay home as much as possible unless working, shopping for necessary supplies, getting carry out meals from restaurants, or attending to medical needs.

To assist Osceola County residents regarding concerns about the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Osceola County has created a new webpage, Osceola.org/covid19, which includes local updates in addition to resources and updates from the CDC and FDOH.
