Djokovic finds no brake in Dubai and saves number one

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic signed another serious performance this Thursday to defeat the Russian Karen Kachanov with a double 6-2 in the Dubai tournament, category ATP 500 and is played on hard court, victory that keeps him undefeated in 2020 and that he assures him next Monday the world number one.

‘Nole’, 16 of 16 this season, shone again on the track to go over Kachanov and enter the semifinals for the ninth time in 11 participations in the tournament. The Belgrade squeezed midway through the first set to get 5-1 with two ‘breaks’. One recovered Kachanov but to the rest the number one sleeve was pointed.

Again aggressive, Djokovic had the option of breaking the first serve of the Russian in the second set and already in the fourth game he achieved the ‘break’. Barely disturbed Kachanov, who again gave up the sleeve in his service. The champion of the ATP Cup with Serbia and the Australian Open will be measured by the Dubai final with Gaël Monfils or Richard Gasquet.

With its presence in the semifinals, ‘Nole’ assures the world number one next Monday in its particular fight with the Spaniard Rafa Nadal, who this week disputes the Acapulco tournament and had to win the Mexican event to have the option of returning to the top .
