Gente de Zona repeats bet on the party on their fourth album, “Otra cosa”

Miami, .- The Cuban duo Gente de Zona premiered its fourth studio album, “Otra cosa”, on Friday, in which they maintain their commitment to casual music that aims to raise the spirits of thousands of fans.

As they did in the past, the winners of the Latin Grammy also repeated their scheme of collaborating with great artists of Latin American music such as the Puerto Rican Gilberto Santa Rosa and Zion and Lennox, the Colombian Silvestre Dangond or the Venezuelans Franco de Vita and Mau and Ricky.

He added to the project also the Brazilian Sertaneja music singer Gusttavo Lima, the Cuban singer-songwriter Kelvis Ochoa, the emerging Spanish singer Ana Mena and the urban musician Farina, from Colombia, among others, said in a statement his record company, Sony Music.

The “Otra cosa” by Alexander Delgado Hernández and Randy Malcom Martínez is an album with 16 tracks, of which 13 are unreleased songs and three alternative versions.

The duo has already released three singles from this album: “Si No Vuelves”, whose video exceeds 163 million reproductions, “Te Duele” and, most recently, “El Mentiroso”, along with vallenato singer Silvestre Dangond.

This new album comes to market after “Visualízate”, 2016, which won the Latin Grammy in the category of best tropical fusion album and was ranked first in the sales lists Top Latin Albums and Tropical Albums of the specialized magazine Billboard.

Over a decade and a half of professional career, this duet, which began as a street collective of rap, has explored different Latin American sounds and rhythms thanks to successful collaborations.

The first big success of this duo that works between Miami and Havana was “Bailando”, the collaboration between Enrique Iglesias, Descemer Bueno and Gente de Zona, which was one of the great winners of the 2014 lists.

A year later, he launched with the New York-born New Yorker Marc Anthony “La Gozadera” and “Traidora”, themes that also reached the top positions of popularity in a collaborative strategy that has also united them with artists such as Kylie Minogue, Thalía, Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez and Carlos Rivera.
