MIAMI (AP) – One person was killed in a shootout Sunday on the façade of the Tump International Beach Resort in Sunny Isles, north of Miami, and another was injured and taken to a local hospital, local media reported.
Miami-Dade County Police, along with the cities of Aventura and Sunny Isles, work together to find the perpetrators of the shooting, who fled the scene aboard a truck with Florida license plates.
In the place they left a dead person and a 19-year-old girl, presumably the deceased’s girlfriend, with bullet wounds. The woman was transported to an Aventura hospital and her condition is unknown.
The fact motivated the closing in both directions of the avenue Collins, at the height of the crossing with the street 178, since the Police cordoned off the area.
The incident occurs after the early hours of this Saturday a person was shot dead in South Beach, near a nightclub, and another person was injured and should be admitted to a local hospital, where he is in stable condition.
According to the WPLG-Local10 station, the deceased, whose death was pronounced at the scene, is the hip-hop singer AAB Hellabandz, from Chicago and whose real name is Ameer Golston. (EFEUSA)
