6-3. Trout and Pujols push and impose brand in the Angels win

Toronto (Canada), (EFE) .- Ranger Mike Trout drove in three runs and Dominican designated hitter Albert Pujols reached the 1,998 career RBIs and the Los Angeles Angels won 6-3 at the Toronto Blue Jays.

For the Angels it was their fifth win in the last six games.
Trout hit 2 of 4 and finished with three RBIs for the Los Angeles Nine, who had lost nine of 10 before their current streak.

Trout established a franchise brand upon reaching the base in his 28th consecutive game at the start of the season, surpassing the 27 followed by Darin Erstad in 2000.

Pujols, 39, scored from the first with a Kole Calhoun double and Billy McKinney error, even ran despite a stop sign from third base coach Mike Gallego
The Dominican pulled the Angels’ first race in the first inning.

The 19-year veteran is about to become the third player with at least 2,000 RBIs since becoming an official statistic, joining Hank Aaron and Alex Rodriguez.

Aaron owns 2,297 and Rodriguez 2,086 in the table of towed races of the majors.
The towing leaders of all time are Hank Aaron (2,297), Alex Rodriguez (2,086), Albert Pujols (1,998), Barry Bonds (1,996) and Lou Gehrig (1,994).

The record can be confusing because the promoted races did not become an official statistic until 1920, which means that they do not consider Babe Ruth and Cap Anson to be members of the 2,000 RBI club, although they are on the list having reached that record.

There are some records that retroactively include all the driven races accumulated before 1920, and others only to players who officially accumulated 2,000 races after 1920.

The win over the mound was credited by the Dominican relay Félix Peña (1-1) in four episodes and a third, allowed four hits, two home runs and three runs, and retired five via the punch.
Peña faced 18 batters with 65 pitches, 44 of them in the strike zone and left in 4.5 his average of effectiveness.
The Blue Jays had won nine of 12 games before losing the first two in this three-game series.

For the Blue Jays the Canadian third baseman of Dominican origin Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was blank when leaving 0 of 4.
Guerrero went 0 to 4 with two strikeouts in the second game as a visitor to his career in the big leagues on the field of one of the teams his father played for.

The 20-year-old prodigy missed his first home run in his career when his raise was not strong enough during the eighth inning.

Although Guerrero made a couple of plays on the field, the third baseman was also given his first Major League error when he could not catch a Pujols hit in the fifth inning.

The defeat was carried by starter Marcus Stroman (1-4) in three episodes and a third, he accepted six hits and five runs.6-3. (EFE)
