Houston (USA) .- Venezuelan wide receiver Robinson Chirinos hit a three-run homer in a seventh inning of four runs and the Houston Astros won by a 4-1 win over the Cleveland Indians, for whom Carlos first baseman Carlos Santana reached the mark of 200 homers for life.
The Astros won the last two games to equal the four-game series with the Indians, in a rematch game of the AL Division Series last year in which Houston won a “sweep” in three games.
The Houston ninth also moved to first place in the AL West.
Chirinos (3) sent the ball out of the field in the seventh inning with two runners ahead against the pitches of his compatriot Carlos Carrasco, when he had two outs in the episode.
The victory was scored by the Dominican relay Framber Valdez (1-1) in two innings, allowed unstoppable and struck out two.
For the Indians, Santana reached the 200 homers for life and is in place 340 of the list of all time.
The Dominican is tied with five former players in the list that leads Barry Bonds, with 862 home runs for life.
The defeat Carrasco (2-3) in six episodes and two thirds, by accepting six hits, home runs and four runs. (EFE)
