Los Angeles, .- The new version with characters of flesh and blood of “Dumbo”, another modernized Disney classic, is the great premiere of the weekend on the national card, where presumably the number one will be scored at the box office.
“Dumbo”, directed by Tim Burton – in his second collaboration with the company after “Alice in Wonderland” – returns to bet on the story of the giant-eared elephant, this time recreated digitally, which becomes the star of the circus.
But when a large multinational buys the small circus company where Dumbo is discovered, the pachyderm and his friends discover dark secrets behind the bright facade of their new home.
Colin Farrell, Eva Green, Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito are the protagonists of the story, which could raise around 50 million dollars, according to industry estimates.
The other releases of the week, of much less relevance, are those of “The Beach Bum”, “Unplanned” and “Diane”.
The comedy “The Beach Bum” by Harmony Korine, focuses on the figure of a rebel addicted to marijuana who lives life according to their own rules.
Matthew McConaughey, Snoop Dogg, Fisher Island and Stefania LaVie Owen lead the cast.
“Unplanned,” by Chuck Konzelman and Cary Solomon, is a drama about Abby Johnson, the director of an abortion clinic that engaged in more than 22,000 such interventions.

Finally, “Diane” by Kent Jones focuses on a woman who spends her days helping other people and trying to mend her relationship with her son, a drug addict.
