Colombian international Toluca (Mexico) Cristian Borja will pass the medical exams in Lisbon in the next hours to formalize the signing for Sporting de Portugal, club that tomorrow will play the final of the Portuguese League Cup against Porto de Casillas and Éder Militao.
After saying goodbye yesterday to the Mexican club, Cristian Borja, left-back of 25 years, will sign with the lions for the next four and a half years, according to the Portuguese sports newspaper “Record”.
Once the medical examinations of the soccer player, which debuted last September with the absolute of Colombia, are validated, the Portuguese club will make a disbursement by the player of 3.1 million euros to get 80% of the rights, according to the newspaper.
The Colombian soccer player was formed in the lower categories of CortuluĂ¡, where he made his professional debut in 2015, and in January 2018 he signed for the Mexican club of Toluca.
The sports press lusa assures today that the signing of the Colombian could obey the possible march of the Argentine side of Sporting Marcos Acuña, intended by the Zenit of St. Petersburg.
