“Serenity” is postulated as the great novelty on the billboard

“Serenity”, a dark thriller by Steven Knight with Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway as protagonists, is the big novelty of the weekend on the national card.

The film, an enigmatic proposal with more than one surprise, stars Baker Dill (McConaughey), a man who, to flee from his past, has settled on an island paradise where he tries by all means to catch a huge tuna .

However, his frustration and constant failure at sea will be put on the back burner when his ex-wife Karen (Hathaway) suddenly appears demanding that she kill her husband, who abuses her.

Also they arrive at the rooms “The Kid Who Would Be King”, “The Invisibles” and the German “Never Look Away”.

“The Kid Who Would Be King” by Joe Cornish, tells how a group of teenagers embarks on an epic adventure to stop a threat from medieval times.

This work, which revolves around the mythical sword of Excalibur and the wizard Merlin, features Rebecca Ferguson, Tom Taylor, Patrick Stewart and Rhianna Dorris in the cast.

For its part, “The Invisibles” looks back to the past and tells how four young Jews survived the presence of the Nazis in the Berlin of 1943 hiding in broad daylight.

Max Mauff, Alice Dwyer, Ruby O. Fee and Aaron Altaras appear in the film.

Finally, “Never Look Away”, an Oscar nominee for the best non-English speaking film, tells the story of a painter, from his childhood in Nazi Germany to his escape from East Berlin in search of his freedom as an artist.
