The luxurious waterfront mansion in Broward County (southeast Florida) where the late entrepreneur and philanthropist H. Wayne Huizenga, founder of AutoNation, resided has gone on sale for $ 26.9 million.

The “Tarpon Pointe” mansion, located in the exclusive and historic sector of Rio Vista, in the coastal city of Fort Lauderdale, stands on an exuberant 1.5-acre lot and has eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms, as well as a wing destined to offices with private kitchen.

The “spectacular” housing of 18,000 square feet (about 1,700 square meters) is “so immense that it requires a tour to fully understand and appreciate” the type of mansion that is offered, according to information from real estate agency Drum Realty, in charge of the sale.

The house with tile roof shows rooms with high ceilings of exposed wooden beams, interior brick walls and wooden floors and furniture.
It has a swimming pool with a bar surrounded by trees, an outside gazebo and a leisure room with billiards inside the house.
