They dismiss a lawsuit against Michael Jackson for sexual abuse of a minor

A judge in Los Angeles has dismissed a lawsuit against the late singer Michael Jackson for an alleged crime of sexual abuse of a minor, the media specialist on celebrity news TMZ reported today.

The complaint was presented in 2013 by the Australian choreographer Wade Robson, who said he was a victim of abuse by the “king of pop” when he was a child.

In their arguments, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff considered that two companies that were owned by Jackson, and that with the deceased singer since 2009 were the only two parts of the defense remaining in the case, they can not be judged responsible for the alleged behavior of the artist with Robson.

In this way, the judge did not enter to consider whether the accusations of sexual abuse were true or not.

Robson, who is now 35 years old, visited as a child and often Neverland, the famous residence of the singer.

The complainant was a key witness in the trial of Michael Jackson for pedophilia held in 2005, a legal process of which he was found not guilty and in which Robson denied that the artist overcame him.

Subsequently, Robson filed his own complaint, which was the one that the judge dismissed on Tuesday.

Highlighted as one of the most important figures of popular music of the twentieth century, Jackson died in June 2009 at age 50 due to an overdose of drugs while preparing a series of concerts in London with which he planned his return to the stage.
