92-79. Westbrook and the Thunder extend their triumph

Base Russell Westbrook scored 21 points as the leading scorer for the Oklahoma City Thunder, who defeated the devalued Chicago Bulls 92-79.

With their victory, their third consecutive, the Thunder improved their mark to 7-7 in the championship and 5-2 in games held in their field.

The Thunder had lost four games in a row before getting the current winning streak.

The Oklahoma City team went 27-7 in the first quarter of the game, tying the lowest number of so many allowed in a quarter since the franchise moved from Seattle in 2008.

In that quarter the Bulls scored only 2 of 16 field goals.

The forward Carmelo Anthony contributed double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds in his return to the field of play after missing a match for back pains.

Reserve forward Jeramy Grant emerged as the winner and surprise factor by providing another double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds.

The Spanish guard Alex Abrines had four points in 23 minutes of play by scoring 1 of 5 triples and 1 of 2 from the line of personnel and achieved four rebounds.

The Bulls (2-10), who remain on the losing road, were led by rookies, rookie Finn power forward Lauri Markkanen and reserve base Antonio Blakeney, who contributed 16 points apiece.

Reserve forward Denzel Valentine also had 13 goals, while the power forward, who attacked the Spanish Montenegrin Nikola Mirotic, also came off the bench and led the inside game by capturing nine rebounds.

Brazilian reserve center Cristiano Felicio added eight points to the Bulls attack.
Felicio played 18 minutes, was perfect in the field shots with 3 of 3, and in the personnel with 2 of 2, got two rebounds and delivered two assists.
