J Balvin retains his dominance on Latin Billboard charts with “Mi Gente”

Colombian musician J Balvin once again dominates Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart this week with the version of the song “Mi gente” in which BeyoncĂ© appears and whose income goes to organizations working in the recovery of the natural disasters of Mexico and Puerto Rico.

The song also stars Latin Airplay, Latin Streaming Songs and Latin Pop Airplay and Hot Latin Songs, where it holds the top spot for the third consecutive week.

In addition, the urban artist jumped from second to first place on the Latin Digital Song Sales chart and remains for the second consecutive week in the sixth place of the Hot 100 Billboard, which measures the popularity in the US radio.

“Despacito”, the success of Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, rose from third to second on the Latin Digital Song Sales list, while “Almost Like a Prayer” by Boricua actor and composer Lin- Manuel Miranda went down from second to third,

Like the new version of “Mi gente”, the theme of Miranda also has a charitable origin and was composed to raise funds for those affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

Ozuna’s “Odisea” album remains unbeaten in first place on the Top Latin Albums chart for the eighth consecutive week.

In the same way, Shakira retained the second place with “El dorado” for the fifth consecutive week, while Romeo Santos remained in the third with “Golden” for the fourth consecutive week.

Inside the top ten, the Mexican regional group Caliber 50 entered in the seventh position with the album “War of power”.

In the Latin Pop Albums list, Shakira retained the top spot with “El Dorado” for 15 consecutive weeks, while “Ones”, which charts the number one hits of the late Mexican-American singer Selena, rose from third to second place and exchanged positions with the CNCO group and his album “Primera cita”.

The album “War of Power” of the group Caliber 50, made debut in the first place in the list Regional Mexican Albums, displacing to Christian Nadal, that fell from the first to the second with “I let go”.

In the same way, “I come to clarify”, of the Phantom and Popular Band of the Llando descended from the second to the third.

In the Tropical Songs list, Nacho, the former member of the Venezuelan duo Chino & Nacho, held the first place for the seventh consecutive week with the song “Báilame”, the same as the bacchusman Romeo Santos, who kept the second, also for the seventh week consecutive, with “Imitadora”.

Jennifer Lopez went down to fourth place with “Ni tĂş ni yo”, the first promotional cut of her Spanish album “For the first time” and that counts on the production of its exmarido Marc Anthony and the collaboration of the Cuban duet Gente de Zona, while that “Stay with me,” by Chyno Miranda with the collaboration of Wisin and Gente de Zona, rose to the third position.
