Venezuelan authorities have confirmed the arrival in the country of another flight carrying 131 citizens, all of whom were deported from Miami, United States, under the “Return to the Homeland” (Vuelta a la Patria) program—an initiative through which Caracas seeks the “social and familial reintegration” of these Venezuelans.
The aircraft landed at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, allowing these citizens to return “voluntarily” to Venezuelan soil. Among them are 115 men, 10 women, and six minors—one boy, three girls, and two infants—according to a message disseminated by the program itself via Telegram.
Upon their arrival, they were received by Venezuelan security forces to ensure compliance with the “comprehensive care” protocols established for such cases and designed by the Venezuelan government.
Accordingly, they received personalized attention from members of the Scientific, Penal, and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN), the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), and the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB).
This protocol includes personalized interviews to assess each individual case, comprehensive medical care to verify the health status of all passengers, and safe transport to their respective homes across various regions of Venezuelan territory.
