Jordi Fernández’s Brooklyn Nets Lose in Orlando and Continue Their Slump

The Brooklyn Nets, coached by Spaniard Jordi Fernández, lost to the Orlando Magic 105-98 on Saturday morning (early Saturday morning in Spain) in their second game of the Emirates NBA Cup. The New Yorkers continue their losing streak, having suffered their thirteenth defeat in their last 15 games this season.

On the court of the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida, German forward Franz Wagner’s 25 points, six rebounds, and five assists led the home team to victory. The Magic played without their star player, Paolo Banchero, due to a groin injury.

For the visitors, Michael Porter Jr. was the standout player with 24 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists. Despite these respectable numbers, the team coached by Jordi Fernández remains at the bottom of Group B in the Eastern Conference with the same 0-2 record as the Philadelphia 76ers.
